Dr Gustavo Vivaldi

Dr Vivaldi completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001 and his Masters in Orthodontics in 2004, both in renowned institutions in Brazil. He opened his private practice in 2001, which he operated successfully until 2013 when he moved to Australia with his family. Dr Vivaldi was delighted to be granted his general dental registration in Australia.

Dr Vivaldi has over 16 years of orthodontic experience. During that time he has undertaken further Post-Graduate studies, including a Mini-Residency in Orthodontics at the University of Michigan. In addition to practicing fixed orthodontics, he has spent the last 13 years studying and developing his knowledge and skills in treating complex cases with Clear Aligners.

In 2012, as one of the top Invisalign Doctors in Brazil, Dr Vivaldi was invited to visit the primary Invisalign® facility in Costa Rica. Shortly after, that he founded the first study group in South America in this field, achieving a prominent position within the Invisalign® community in Brazil, where he has become an Invisalign® presenter.

Dr Vivaldi has a passion for technology, physics and the science behind tooth movement. He is always thinking of ways to push the boundaries to deliver better and faster treatments with aligners.

Dr Vivaldi is an Invisalign Diamond and a Suresmile Advanced doctor.

Dr Rhonda Coyne

Dr. Rhonda Coyne strives to innovatively use technology to be at the forefront of the digital orthodontic revolution. 

She studied dentistry at the University of Queensland and is a 1998 University of Melbourne Alumnus and on graduation joined her father’s family practice in Cairns and now runs three practices in Regional Far North Queensland. From a family of specialists and teachers she takes special interest in all forms of education, technology and professional development.  

Rhonda has presented nationally & internationally on a broad range of topics both inside and outside of orthodontics including dental monitoring, intraoral scanners, aligners and practice management.

Dr John Hagiliassis

Dr. John Hagiliassis graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dentistry in 1998.

Dr John founded Freedom Dental, a South Melbourne-based dental clinic in 2011, which quickly listed on BRW’S Fast 100 businesses in Australia for the years 2011 and 2012.

With a true passion and commitment to customer service and cosmetic dentistry, Dr John and his team of over 50 staff treat thousands of patients every year, providing them with straighter, whiter smiles in a spa-like environment and providing personalised care and six-star service. Dr John is the largest provider of Phillips Zoom! whitening treatment in Australasia since 2012.

Dr John absolutely loves technology and loves finding ways to incorporate it into his practice to make him more accurate and efficient. Many years ago, John was one of the first people to have an iTero scanner in the world and has continued this trend by updating his technology constantly. Dr John has treated over 3000 clear aligners cases to date.

His passion for cosmetic dentistry saw him further his education in 2017, completing a Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Orthodontics at the Postgraduate School of Dentistry.

Dr John regularly speaks and mentors at the Postgraduate School of Dentistry, as well as for Ivoclar (Trios Intraoral scanning) and SmileStyler.

Dr John is also the founder of Aesthetic Orthodontic and Restorative Training Academy (AORTA) which aims to promote the further education of dental clinicians in the new field of digital dentistry and aesthetic orthodontics.

Dr Knox Kim

Dr Knox Kim is a key opinion leader for Invisalign® in the region of Asia-Pacific. graduated from University of Sydney in 2000 and been working at his private practice in Sydney CBD since 2003.

Accredited for Invisalign® in 2008 and he has completed close to 1,000 Invisalign® cases since.

Dr Kim has reached top 10 entry at Peer reviewed Invisalign®  Global gallery, ranked top 6 in 2013 and top 9 in 2017.

He has been a clinical speaker for Invisalign®  Australia/ New Zealand, and has educated both dentists/ orthodontists through Invisalign®  Masterclass series at Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Korea, Japan and China.

Dr Kim has been involved on Invisalign®’s Product Development Panel for  ClinCheck® software development over 6 years and gained his insight into future direction of aligner orthodontics.

Dr Kim is the administrator for Invisalign® Global Doctor Study Club, and also serves on committees for Australian Clear Aligner Soceity, Taiwan Academy of Aligner Orthodontics and Japan Ginza Invisalign®  study meeting.
